You can reach the island from the mainland, Erdek by Istanbul Fast Ferries Co. Inc. (IDO) ferries. These ferries work two times in a week both in winter and summer.Also, you can find boats to island from Avsa island.

You can also reach Avsa island from Istanbul by sea bus in three hours. In addition, ferries work regularly between Avsa island and mainland Erdek, Tekirdag and Silivri.
